We had a good waitress, most times we have had a waiter that isn't very good he ignores us . Food is good.
Service is okay. Food isn't great but it's okay. I'm not really a fan of the place, they don't have any kids menu options, but it's a great place to run into people.
Maria's is good, honest food. They are a local family who works hard to give patrons good food at a reasonable price. Plus the service is always friendly and prompt. Good local joint. : )
Amazing authentic Mexican food and drinks. They have a nice romantic cozy atmosphere and staff is always friendly and efficient. This is one of my favorite places in sturgis!
However good servers do exist there, but it is very rare to get them. When you get them, the food and service are great.
The food is great; the service is terrible. The food serving size used to be larger now sizes are around 25% less. A stop watch timer started from being seated was at 20 minutes until we flagged a waiter down to get our drinks. Another ten minutes until we actually received our drinks and our order was taken. Our food came late and not as we ordered it. Our cups were empty despite wanting refills. The service just got worse from there. If you have patience and two hours available for a thirty minute meal, then the food is great.
