THE WORST PLACE EVER !!!! Stan the owner still owes me $4,000.00. For HIS screw up on ordering the WRONG Hunter Douglas Blinds for my house.
I DON'T EVER DO THIS BUT I JUST HAD A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE AT LONGSTREET FURNITURE IN STURGIS. My sister bought a mattress from there 3 years ago with a 10 year warranty on it. Well a bolt was sticking out and it made a hole on the bottom of it. I called the place and The owner told me to take pictures and to take them in and he would see what he could do about it. So my sister and I go in to show him the pictures and we got treated so bad he even made me cry. The owner of the place got a really bad attitude with us he said "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT" . We where obviously there because my sister bought it there and she wanted to know what could be done. He even threatened to call the police on me if we didn't get out. HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO HAVE ME ARRESTED IF I DIDN'T LEAVE. I don't know if he treated us like that because of my race or maybe he thought i wasn't legal beacuse when i told him to call the police he stopped. I'm thinking he thought that i was going to be afraid...I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED TO SEE HOW LONGSTREET FURNITURE TREATED HIS CUSTOMER! THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME WE EVER BUY FROM THERE.

Make sure you ask questions because what you see in the showroom is NOT what you get. I ordered smaller blinds for my other windows so they all matched. In the showroom they show you the whole look of the blind. When you order the blind that’s all you get..... everything else is separate. Like the chain cover, the valance cover to hide the roll.

The material came very wrinkled.... his response was, let the sun hit it and it will shrink it and the wrinkles will come out. WHAT?! He has no clue. I called the Hunter Douglas directly. They called him to correct the situation. His reply was, keep what you have and I’ll refund you $4,000.00. Still waiting on that check, Stan.
